The slate engraves light gray for a clean, high-contrast finish, while the wood deep engraves for a rich, natural imprint. Slate is not removable. • Care: Hand wash only; not microwave or dishwasher safe. To preserve the wood’s finish and prevent drying or cracking, occasionally apply a light food-safe mineral oil or cutting board oil.
