✅ Aluminum can be engraved without an insert, but it is not UV-protected. The insert area is 1/16" recessed and slightly textured.

✅ For a more resilient, professional and long-lasting solution, we recommend adding an impact-modified acrylic insert. These premium 2-ply materials feature a clear top layer over a colored back layer, offering high contrast, superior readability, and enhanced UV protection for both indoor and outdoor applications.
